Your Support Service provides individual, group, and school-based psychiatric rehabilitative services and mental health vocational services to adults.  YSS counselors and PRP coordinators will use intervention techniques and behavior modification tools specific to each client, each goal, and each type of rehabilitative or vocational service. 

One-on-one counseling, which provides clients with an open space to share their feelings with an objective clinician, in efforts to create or maintain optimal mental health. 

YSS works with families to help them cope with the challenges of maintaining a relationship with a relative diagnosed with a mental health disorder by providing family counseling. Family counseling sessions consist of the clinician interacting with the members of such a family to help them interact in a positive manner and gain insight.  

This type of counseling is for adults who are facing similar challenges. The group is facilitated by a licensed clinician. 

YSS assists individuals with managing diagnoses that interfere, impair,  trouble, or stagnate individuals.  PRP is provided to help individuals learn new or renew life skills which include social as well as independence support.  

YSS supports individuals with employment matters to include search, training, interviewing, on the job support, and procuring or securing the job.  YSS provides offsite and onsite job support for persons in the Supported Employment Program and assist individuals with becoming eligible by way of Maryland Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS).
